I Took A Nature Walk

The title's not lying: I did, as soon as I got to open my new digital camera a little early before Christmas. I took advantage of the beautiful weather that day and took a hike up to the top of the hill behind our house (like I've done so many times before) to see what I could see. I got a lot of nice shots and tried out many of the varied settings on the camera. I finally feel more like an actual photographer now! I like the way many of these turned out, and I'm eager to do a photo safari up here near DC again sometime.
