Shatnerbury Tales

William Shatner has a new album coming out soon. In October, to be precise. Ben Folds, with whom Shatner collaborated on Folds' Fear of Pop album, is behind this project as well, producing and writing many of the songs. Other notables like Joe Jackson, Brad Paisley, Henry Rollins, and British author Nick Hornby help out with singing and playing and writing some of the tunes. This isn't even Shatner's first foray into the music scene, as Trekkers like me know: all you have to do is look back to 1968's The Transformed Man and revel in the song choices.

Mark my words: this will come to be known as the album of the century.
