...And A Happy New Year.

Well, Christmas has passed here at the Project BS home offices, and it's been a great holiday. I'm about to embark on my sole road trip of the break. I'll be visiting Gina in eastern Virginia, but first I'll be making a stop in Blacksburg to rest up and check up on my digs and the fish. Thus, this will be my last post made during 2003.

This has been a great year for me in many ways. Gina and I got together last March, and she's been a one-woman support group and a great friend ever since. She's helped keep me sane in the months leading up to now. Hope she knows that I know that she knows that I know how lucky I am. :) (Got that, kids? Try to keep up.) I've had a successful work term, gotten this website up, taken some good trips through the summer and fall, and I've settled into my role as Wesley's president. I've made new friends and had a lot of good times with my old ones. I could go on for a while waxing philosophical, but I don't want to risk being too cliche. Suffice it to say that even though I complain about some things from time to time and still wonder about the future a lot, I know I've got it pretty good. Thanks everyone, and may 2004 be the best year of all of our lives!

Before I sign off, I want to mention that this post goes out to my dog, Biscuit. She disappeared sometime last night, along with another neighborhood dog, and none of us have seen them since. We can only suspect the worst at this point, so it's unfortunately with a bit of a sad story that I ring in the new year. Here's to you, Biscuit. You may have jumped on me and my car a lot through the years, but you were still our dog.
